This is my district of Kyiv now. March 2022.

I am Iryna from Kyiv, Ukraine. War came in my country. I had a possibility to be evacuated in Europe or America, but I preferred to stay in my country. Because a lot of help is needed here.

Now I am a volunteer. The main focus of my volunteering activity is help to the elderly people who are in Kyiv now. They don't have enough health to go to the safer place, many of them are staying in Kyiv all alone. They cannot buy food, they are completely helpless. Only volunteers like me can help them.

Me and my friends buy food, necessities and medicine for them using donations. We distribute the goods to the elderly people in our district on daily basis.

For the last 10 days our district was under the shelling and missiles attack almost every night. Several multi-floors buildings were ruined. Unfortunately there were many the elderly people too. Now I help them with shelter, clothes, food.
